Terms of Service for CPM Calculator

The rules for using the CPM Calculator website and its browser-based advertising math tool.

Effective Date: September 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cpmcalculator.wiki and the CPM Calculator. By visiting the site or using the calculator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Service description

CPM Calculator provides a browser-based utility and explanatory content for calculating cost per 1,000 impressions, total ad spend or revenue, and estimated impressions from any two known values. The calculator uses client-side JavaScript for the ordinary calculation flow and does not require an account or a server-side calculation job.

The site may add, change, pause or remove features as it evolves. A result is a mathematical estimate based on the numbers and metric definitions you provide, not a prediction of an advertising platform's actual rate or outcome.

2. Your inputs and decisions

You are responsible for entering accurate, comparable values and for deciding how to use the result. Match the amount, currency, impression definition and reporting period before comparing campaigns, placements, publisher revenue or creator scenarios.

You are also responsible for checking platform reports, invoices, contracts, taxes, fees, revenue shares, viewability rules and other business details that a simple CPM formula cannot determine.

3. Estimates and limitations

  • CPM describes cost or revenue per 1,000 impressions; it does not measure clicks, conversions, profit, viewability or audience quality by itself.
  • The currency selector changes the display label only and does not provide exchange-rate conversion.
  • Estimated impressions may differ from actual delivery because of auctions, pacing, inventory, targeting, fees, invalid traffic and platform definitions.
  • A YouTube, social or display advertising scenario may use different definitions for views, monetized playbacks, ad impressions, billable impressions and creator revenue.
  • Displayed results are rounded for readability and should be reconciled with source reports when precision matters.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site to process or distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful or deceptive content.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, scrape aggressively or interfere with the site or other visitors.
  • Do not inject malicious scripts, bypass security controls or test the site in a way that harms its availability.
  • Do not misrepresent CPM Calculator as affiliated with an advertising platform, publisher, agency or analytics provider.
  • Do not rely on the calculator as legal, tax, accounting, investment or guaranteed advertising advice.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, pause or remove the calculator, explanatory content, scripts or calculation behavior at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every browser or permanent access to any result shown in a temporary page session.

A future update may change supported currencies, input rules, formatting, interface states or privacy disclosures. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms for future use.

6. Intellectual property

The original CPM Calculator site text, layout, interface organization, branding and code are owned by CPM Calculator or used with permission unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, resell, frame or present the site in a way that suggests a false relationship with CPM Calculator.

Your campaign data, revenue records and business assumptions remain your responsibility. A calculated result does not transfer rights in any source report, platform data or third-party material.

7. External links and third-party services

The site may link to advertising documentation, browser references, measurement resources or policy pages. We do not control third-party websites, content, availability, pricing, privacy practices or security controls. A link does not guarantee endorsement, accuracy or compatibility. Review third-party terms before relying on an external service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the calculator will meet every requirement, use a platform's preferred definitions, produce a particular financial outcome or remain available without interruption.

You are responsible for source-data validation, backups, permissions, security review, legal review, tax review, browser testing and decisions based on any result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CPM Calculator and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, inability to use the site, entered data, calculated results, support communications or third-party services. This includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, business interruption and replacement-service costs.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.
